Rates below were pulled directly from the AER's Consumer Data Right Product Reference Data API — the same official data feed that powers Energy Made Easy — not estimated or scraped. Covers electricity only for now (no gas yet), across NSW, VIC, QLD and SA, for one representative plan per retailer per state.

Estimate your annual electricity cost using real plan rates pulled from the AER — pick the actual network zone that serves your address, not just your state, since rates genuinely differ zone to zone. Not sure which zone you're in? It's printed on your electricity bill, or your distributor's website can look it up by address.
Rates come straight from the AER's official Consumer Data Right Product Reference Data API — one representative residential plan per retailer per network zone, as of the date shown. Time-of-use plans show peak-rate-only, so those estimates run high if you shift usage off-peak. This covers a sample of retailers, not every plan on the market — check Energy Made Easy (or Victorian Energy Compare for VIC) for the full live comparison before switching.
